Hot blast stove maintenance, oxygen dissolution with air, saturated state caused dissolved oxygen corrosion, its corrosion rate is 10 times faster than running, coupled with residual scale, corrosion is more intense. After stopping the hot blast stove, the outside air will enter the furnace body system in large quantities. The water film attached to the metal surface of the furnace body will dissolve with the air to form oxygen, which will cause dissolved oxygen corrosion when it reaches the saturation state. The corrosion rate is ten times faster than that when it is running, and the residual scale will make the corrosion more intense. Making use of a certain concentration of alkaline solution to contact the metal on the inner surface of the hot blast stove to form an alkali protective film on the metal surface to prevent metal corrosion. After stopping the stove, drain the water, clear the scale and soot, close all the entrance holes, hand holes, valves and so on, and completely isolate them from other running stoves. Then the softening water is injected into the hot blast stove to the lowest water level, and the alkaline anticorrosive liquid is injected into the hot blast stove with a special pump. The composition of the preservative is: sodium hydroxide, 5-6 kg per ton of pot water. Or add 5-10 kg of sodium carbonate per ton of pot water. When all the corrosive liquid is injected, the softening water is filled with hot blast stove (including superheater and economizer) by opening the feed valve until the pot water comes out of the air valve. At this time, close the air valve and water supply valve, and then open the special pump for water circulation, so as to make the concentration of alkaline preservatives in the hot blast stove mix evenly. During the maintenance period, external inspection should be carried out regularly and the alkalinity of the pot water should be tested regularly. If it is found that the level or alkalinity of the pot water decreases, the causes should be identified and treated in time, and alkali liquor should be added. Water circulation should be carried out regularly so that the concentration of alkali liquor is the same everywhere. In winter, the pot water should be prevented from freezing and the open-air hot stove can not be maintained by wet method. When the hot blast stove in wet maintenance is restored to operation, all the pot water should be released and softened again.
