However, cold-drawn seamless steel tube has unique advantages, because its surface is not easy to be oxidized, which is mainly related to the raw materials of cold-drawn seamless steel tube. Precision stainless steel tube is formed by a thin, firm and compact chromium-rich oxide film (protective film) on its surface, which prevents oxygen atoms from penetrating into and oxidizing continuously, and obtains the ability to resist corrosion.
Therefore, the surface of cold-drawn seamless steel tubes should be cleaned and maintained at a certain level to prolong the service life of cold-drawn seamless steel tubes. Cold-drawn seamless steel pipe should be kept in a sealed place as far as possible.
